As summer approaches, Port Colborne residents and visitors can look forward to a season filled with free concerts at the scenic H.H. Knoll Lakeview Park bandshell. The Community Concert Series will run from June to September, offering a diverse lineup of performances every week.

All concerts start at 7 p.m. at the outdoor bandshell located at 160 Sugarloaf Street. While admission is free, attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the Port Cares food bank, supporting local families in need. This charitable initiative helps local families while providing entertainment for the community.

The 2025 season features several notable acts. North America’s top ABBA tribute will kick off the series on June 8, followed by a Doobie Brothers tribute on June 23. July 5 brings Ontario’s premier Latin Top 40 Band to the stage. On August 18, Canada’s leading Beatles tribute show will perform, and the season closes with Juno nominee Spencer MacKenzie delivering blues music on September 13.

Concert-goers should bring picnic blankets or folding chairs to enjoy the performances in comfort. The waterfront location provides beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere for music lovers of all ages.

Mayor Bill Steele and city officials have expressed support for the concert series, noting its importance for community building and tourism. The events attract visitors to Port Colborne’s waterfront while showcasing local and regional musical talent.

Beyond the summer concert series, Port Colborne offers additional musical entertainment throughout the year. The Lighthouse Festival Theatre will present shows from May 21 to October 5, including “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder.”

Other notable performances coming to Port Colborne include Green River Revival on March 7, The Yacht Rock Show on March 28, and tributes to Sheryl Crow, Stevie Nicks, Gordon Lightfoot, and Janis Joplin in April.

The wider Niagara region will also host several music festivals in 2025, including the Vertigo Music Festival, Niagara Falls Elvis Festival, WYRK Taste of Country, and the Music Niagara Festival.
