Brock University has expanded its health services with a new Sport Medicine Clinic at Canada Games Park. The clinic is located on the second floor of the facility, which sits adjacent to Brock’s main campus. This marks the university’s second clinic location, complementing existing services at Harrison Hall.
The expansion aims to extend services beyond varsity athletes to all students, staff, faculty, and the broader Niagara community. The clinic’s convenient location near the Functional Inclusive Training Centre (Bfit) makes it easily accessible for visitors seeking care.
Patients of all ages and physical abilities can access a wide range of treatments including physiotherapy, athletic therapy, massage therapy, chiropractic care, osteopathy, and acupuncture. The facility also offers cutting-edge modalities like shockwave and laser therapies, plus bracing and supportive equipment.
The clinic adopts a multi-disciplinary approach, with experts across various health disciplines working together to provide personalized care. The staff is committed to delivering exceptional service delivery to patients with diverse abilities and needs. It’s open daily and specifically designed to serve community athletes and the general public, with a focus on rehabilitating injuries from athletic and recreational activities.
Canada Games Park itself features impressive amenities, including NHL-sized ice rinks, a 6,000 sq. ft. Sport Performance Centre, a 400m outdoor track, gymnasiums, and beach volleyball courts. The park was developed as a legacy of the 2022 Canada Summer Games.
The clinic is currently looking to expand its team with positions for a Chiropractor, Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, and Registered Massage Therapist. Job postings close on April 11, 2025, with successful candidates starting by the end of that month.
Community members interested in touring the new facility can attend the Health and Wellness Open House on May 7, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The open house will allow visitors to explore the clinic, though treatments won’t be available during the event.
